Donald Bouck, 78, of Diagonal passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Clearview Home, Clearfield, Iowa. No Services are planned.
Donald Richard Bouck, the son of Frank Roosevelt and Annetta Adele (Hoein) Bouck, was born on May 20, 1939 in Waterloo, Iowa. Donald served in the United States Air Force from 1956 until he was honorably discharged in 1960. On May 10, 1958, he married Jeroldine Johnson and four children were born to that union. They later divorced. On September 15, 1987, he married Betty Mae (Larkin) Lyden in Glenrock, Wyoming.
Donald grew up in Waterloo and then spent time in Colorado and Wyoming. He and Betty returned to live in Southwest Iowa in 2008. Donald worked various jobs during his life. He worked as a print press operator. After Donald and Betty were married, together they were managers of multiple housing properties. He last worked as a Security Guard.
Left to cherish Donald’s memory are his son: Dennis Bouck (significant other Michelle Snider), Ft. Collins, CO; his daughters: Tina (James) Branam, North Platte, NE; and Tammy Bouck, Ft. Collins, CO; his step-sons: David (Annette) Lyden, Diagonal, IA; Larry Lyden, Casper, WY; and Mike Lyden, Omaha, NE; his grandchildren: Shane Bouck; Mike, Noah and Kasey Bouck; Brian Fredette; Amanda Fredette and Jaslynn Schild; his step-grandchildren: Stephanie Lyden (Fiance’ Steven Flynn), Ashley and Dusty Lyden; Delton (Ryan) Lyden; Lynnsey Lyden (significant other Brian Harness); and Emily (Cory) Dillon; many great-grandchildren; his ex-daughter-in-law: Rhonda Lyden, Red Oak, IA; his brothers: Carl (Sharon) Bouck, Waterloo, IA; Calvin Bouck, Waterloo, IA; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding Donald in death were his parents; his wife Betty on January 24, 2017; his son, Doug Bouck; his grandson, Zackariah Schild; his daughter-in-law, Diane Bouck; his step-grandson, Alex Lyden as a toddler; his step-son, Kent Lyden; his sister-in-law, Marilynn Bouck; and his brother Frank and sister-in-law, Dixie Bouck.
