Tammy Jo Oltman

Tammy Jo Oltman, the daughter of James Davis and Virginia Anne (Norman) Sash, was born on May 16, 1963 in Creston, Iowa. Tammy Jo entered eternal rest on May 12, 2016 at her home in Creston, Iowa at the age of fifty-two years.
Tammy graduated from Creston High School with the Class of 1981. Tammy received an Associate Degree from Johnson County Community College, Kansas City, Kansas in Interior Design. On June 27, 1992 she married Tony Oltman in Creston and they later divorced. Tammy lived in Malibu, California for about ten years working as a property manager. The past two years she has been employed at Casey’s in Creston and Villisca. Tammy was always taking care of other people. She loved her daughter, loved being a grandmother, cherished all of her family and extended family. Tammy loved to dance and enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with Lyle.
Left to cherish Tammy’s memory is her daughter, Rhiannon (Joe) Cooney, Villisca, IA; her brother, Jim Sash, Creston; her sister, Terri Sash (and special friend, David Gavin), Des Moines, IA; Special friend, Lyle Schrodt, Creston; Grandchildren: Haddie Spencer; Howard, Cambry, Jamison and Jackson Cooney; Tony Oltman, Fort Wright, KY; Nephews: Sean Lissarrague, Phoenix, AZ; and James Sash, Iowa City, IA. Tammy will be missed by her many, many friends.
Preceding Tammy in death were her parents; her brother, John Sash; her aunt and uncle, Charlotte and Bob Norman; her cousin, Donnie Norman, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Tammy Jo had the soul of a gypsy, the heart of a hippie and a free spirit.
