Bonnie I. Blazek

Bonnie Irene Blazek, the daughter of Clara Belle (Kirkpatrick) and Lynn Wells Antisdel, was born on April 17, 1916, in Adair County, near Bridgewater, Iowa. Bonnie entered eternal rest on February 10, 2007, at the Creston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Creston, Iowa, at the age of ninety years, nine months, and twenty-six days.
Bonnie graduated high school with the Class of 1934. On April 17, 1935, she married Ralph Harry Blazek in Creston, Iowa. Three children were born to bless this union. Bonnie taught country school in Adams County for about four years. She also taught as a substitute in Williamson for about a year. Bonnie was a homemaker and a farm wife most of her life. They lived on a farm north of Williamson until 1996, then moved to Creston.
Bonnie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary at Williamson; the Prescott Quilters; and a neighborhood club near Williamson.
Left to mourn Bonnies passing are her children: Dallas (wife Philis) Blazek, Missouri Valley, Iowa; Phyllis (husband Blake) Cooper. Prescott; and Patsy Blazek, Clive, Iowa; her brother: Lawrence Antisdel, Creston; her sister: Berniece (husband Paul) Downing, Creston; her Sister-In-Law: Beaulah Antisdel, Southgate, CA; her six Grandchildren: Randy (Holly) Cooper; Jill (Chris) Bemis; Shawn (Jeff) Bruening; Shane Blazek; Tricia (Alton) Rollerson; Teresa Polson; Granddaughter-in-law: Janet (Nick) Meisenheimer; Five Great-Grandchildren: Justin Cooper (friend Laura Mullen); Josh and Noah Cooper; Garrett Bruening; Avery Bruening; One Great-Great-Granddaughter: Emma Leigh Cooper; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Bonnie in death were her Parents; Husband, Ralph in 1999; Grandson: Kirk Cooper in 1999; Granddaughter: Joni Lynn Cooper in 1963; Brother: Lyle Antisdel; and Sister-In-Law: Opal Antisdel.
