Charles E. Dwyer, 78, of Creston, Iowa passed away, Sunday, September 12, 2021 at UnityPoint Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery in Creston. Father Adam Westphal will officiate. The family will greet friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center 809 West Montgomery Street Creston, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Adams County 4-H Endowment Fund Tractor Ride. Memories and condolences may be left at www.pearsonfuneralhomes.com.

Charles Edward Dwyer, the son of Charles Andrew and Mary Elizabeth (Wickham) Dwyer was born on August 10, 1943 in Creston, Iowa. He graduated from Creston High School with the class of 1961 Charles was a lifelong farmer, raising cattle, corn and soy beans.

Charles enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, going to the Iowa State Fair and car shows and participating in tractor rides. He also loved his time wintering in Arizona.

Left to cherish Charles’s memory are his nephews: Jeff Conover and wife Jennifer of Janesville, Iowa, Steve Conover and wife Kim of Odebolt, Iowa, Dan Conover and Wife Shelley of Holstein, Iowa, Doug Conover and wife Sheri of Galva, Iowa, Mike Conover and wife Melanie of Cherokee, Iowa; many great nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary; sister, Mary Ann Conover and brother-in-law, Curtis Conover.
