Cleofa Dalton

Cleofa Dalton, 100, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Cleofa Pauline Dalton was born on May 24, 1910, in Ft. Collins, Colorado. She grew up in Dodge Township in Union County. On December 24, 1927, she married Harold Dalton in Des Moines, Iowa. Cleofa was a wife and homemaker. In 1965 she received a license for massage therapy and worked as a massage therapist for many years. Cleofa was a long-time, devout member of the First Baptist Church in Creston. She transferred her membership to a Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she has made her home since her husband passed away.
Left to cherish Cleofas memory is her daughter: Delores (husband John) Gill, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Mary Dalton, Afton; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Cleofa in death were her mother and step-father: Sam and Velma (Hainline) Russell; her beloved husband, Harold on September 3, 1996; her beloved son, Larry Dalton in 1975; and one brother, Rex Russell.
