Darrel Kuiper

Darrel LeRoy Kuiper was born to Hazel (Johnson) and Lawrence Kuiper on July 3, 1943, at Platte, South Dakota. Darrel entered eternal rest on December 20, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of sixty-two years, five months, and nineteen days.
Darrel graduated from high school in Platte, South Dakota, with the class of 1963. Darrel farmed in South Dakota. He also farmed in Union County after moving to the area in 1964. On June 11, 1983, he married Diane Opal Benson in Creston, Iowa. Darrel owned and operated K K Auto in Creston for the last seven years. His hobbies included fishing and camping.
Left to mourn Darrels passing are his wife: Diane Kuiper, Creston; his Daughters: Jennifer (John) Saunders, Nevada, IA; and Angela (Eric) Patterson, Creston; four Grandchildren: Simon and Kale Saunders; Shaily and Sophia Patterson; his brother: Kent (Margaret) Kuiper, Bellvue, MI; his sisters: Cindy (Arlan) League, Creston; and Connie (Al) Casebier, Santa Barbara, CA; his Mother-In-Law and Father-in-Law: Howard and Zola Benson, Des Moines; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives
