David D. Marlin

David Daniel Marlin was called home to be with his Lord Savior on Friday, July 30. David is the son of Gary Marlin of Winterset and Donna M. Marlin of Creston. David was at home with his mother at 1110 N. Lincoln Street since moving back to Creston in October 2005.
David Daniel was born on July 15, 1965, along with his twin sister, Deborah Denise Marlin.
David attended school in Creston and earned his high school diploma in Kansas City, Kansas in 1985. David attained an Associates Degree in Electronics in 1991 from The Electronics Institute in Grandview, MO.
David enjoyed helping neighbors farm in his younger years. He enjoyed archery, fishing, playing pool, board games (Risk Monopoly), computer games (World of Warcraft) and anything electronic. Although he had his degree in electronics, his passion was making beautiful custom pool cues.
David, most of all, enjoyed his 5 nephews and 2 nieces, whom he adored.
David is survived by sister Brenna Marlin Tourigny (husband Guy) and her son Matthew Finateri in Des Moines, Sister Deborah Marlin and her sons Zach Wiebesiek (attends ISU) and Jared Wiebesiek (attends DMACC), Brother, Randy (wife Angie) and their 4 children (Jacob, Trevor, Chloe and Evy) north of Creston.
Davids Aunts and Uncles include, Leon Frey (Denise), of Creston, Robert Frey (Rita), of Afton, Roger Frey, of Creston, Aunt Beverly Koenen, of Creston and Aunt Eloise Fletcher of Sacramento, CA. Cousins, Robert John, Jr., Frey (Sherry) of Nebraska, Aaron Frey (Danel), Creston, Klisa Lange (Greg) Creston, Dana Frey (Erica) Creston, Janeen Frey, Des Moines, Jona Hutson (Mark) of Tarkio, MO, Kara Moulin of Grimes, and Lindsey Woollums (Shea) of Creston, Mandy Quinn, of Phoenix, AZ, and Mike Fletcher of Sacramento, CA. Cousin, preceded in death, Jacqueline MaAnna Frey Scadden and cousin Sydney Koenen.
Grandparents, preceded in death, Arthur Leon Frey, Ruth Isabelle Frey and Amy Tillman.
David leaves many friends and extended family members who miss him greatly. Special friends he would want to recognize from his younger years are Betty Travis and Bruce Travis, Sr, (deceased), Bruce Travis, Jr., and Dee, David and Jean Travis.
