David E. Fife

David Edward Fife, son of Edward Arthur and Rosena Ruth (Adamson) Fife was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 7, 1946. David entered eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Corning, Iowa at the age of sixty-two years.
David was a graduate of Corning High School with the class of 1964. He attended Peru College and Southwestern Community College in Creston.
He was united in marriage to Coni Langfelt on March 9, 1974 in Corning, Iowa, they later divorced. David married Bobette Elaine Johnson on March 25, 1984 at the United Methodist Church in Corning, Iowa.
David was a farmer, most of his adult life, and worked for Adams County with the Road Bridge Maintenance crew. He also worked as a Longshoreman in California.
He was a member of the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, York Rite, Masonic Instruction Lodge #275 AF AM, Happy Hollow Country Club and The United Methodist Church in Corning.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Bobette Fife of Corning, Iowa; daughters: Danyel Rae Foreman of Massena, Iowa and Suzanne Elaine Fife of Corning, Iowa; grandson, Samuel Raye Foreman of Massena, Iowa; mother, Rosena Ruth Fife of Corning, Iowa; brother, Dean Fife (wife Karen Kenkel) of Omaha, Nebraska; step-mother, Dorothy Jean Fife of Corning, Iowa; nephew, Brent Fife of Omaha, Nebraska; niece, Cassondra Hackett of Papillion, Nebraska; aunt, Joan Green of Quincy, Illinois; uncles: Tom (wife Marlene) Adamson of Omaha, Nebraska, Merle (wife Donna) Adamson of Perry, Iowa and Darriel Tilk of Harlan, Iowa and two grand-nieces.
David was preceded in death by his father, Edward Fife; step-father, Bill Harlan; mother and father-in-law, Elaine and Bob Johnson; son, Phillip David Fife; brother, Duane Arnold Fife; grandparents: Nora and Ira Adamson and Otis and Bernice Fife; aunt, Margaret Tilk; uncle, Richard Green and great-aunt, Laura Fife.
