Dean Junior Chumbley

Junior Dean Chumbley, Sr., the son of Asa Naman and Mildred D. Chumbley, was born on January 14, 1938, in Illinois. Dean entered eternal rest on September 1, 2009, at Greater Regional Medical Center, Creston, Iowa, at the age of seventy-one years.
Dean lived in Creston most of his life. On February 28, 1959, he married Patricia Moore at the First Christian Church in Creston. Dean was a self-employed contractor and carpenter. He also worked for Keehn Monuments for several years.
Left to cherish Deans memory are his children: Rose (husband Larry) Baker, Grant City, MO; Junior Chumbley, Lenox; Randy Chumbley and special friend, Brenda Fifer, Kellerton; David (wife Julie) Chumbley, Halbur, IA; Dwight Chumbley, Creston; Doug Chumbley and special friend, Chandra Houghtaling, Creston; Son-in-Law: Britt Minson, Creston; Fourteen Grandchildren; Ten Great-Grandchildren; his Mother-in-Law, Margaret Moore, Creston; his step-sister, Glocille Francis, Des Moines; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Dean in death were his Parents; Wife, Patricia Chumbley; Step-Parents, Veva and J.C. Keehn; Son, Naman, who died at birth; Daughter, Roberta Minson; and Father-in-Law, Marion Moore.
