Dennis Case

Dennis James Case, the son of Jim LeRoy Case and Helen Irene (Bennett) Case, was born on July 25, 1956 in Creston, Iowa. Dennis entered eternal rest on May 19, 2015 at Greater Regional Hospice Home, Creston, Iowa at the age of fifty-eight years.
On September 25, 1972, he married Bonnie Sue Elshoff in Muscatine, Iowa. Sue preceded Dennis in death on January 25, 2010.
Dennis worked at Heinz Manufacturing for thirty-eight years. Dennis worked as a foreman in the filling department where he made the small ketchup packets. He was very proud to work at Heinz and retired at the young age of fifty-five.
Dennis and his wife, Sue, loved to travel on vacation each year and have been in over thirty-five different states. He enjoyed bowling and bowled on leagues for fifteen years winning sixty-five bowling trophies. Dennis was also an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast. Dennis and Sue loved to ride together on weekend getaways. Dennis lived all of his adult life in Muscatine, Iowa and relocated to Creston in November, 2011 to be near his family.
Left to cherish Dennis’ memory are his mother, Helen Case and her long-time companion Wayne Gridley of Kent, IA; his father, Jim Case, Rock Island, IL; his brother, Tim (Tammy) Case, Creston; his sister, Sandy (Junior) Michael, Creston; and his step-son, Jeff Case, Davenport, IA.
Preceding Dennis in death were his wife, Sue in 2010; his sisters: Rosemary Case and Jennifer Mason; and his grandparents: Harold and Daisy Bennett, and Lyle and Mary Case.
