Donald Rosie Mccaulley

Donald Keith McCaulley, the son of Rev. Ralph E. and Hilda McCaulley, was born on January 29, 1920, in Sherwood, Iowa. Donald entered eternal rest on October 8, 2010, at Syracuse Good Samaritan Center, Syracuse, Nebraska, at the age of ninety years, eight months, and nine days.
Donald graduated from high school and attended college. On January 9, 1967, he married Bonnie Bell Evans at Jackson, Minnesota. Donald Rosie was an Engineer for the Burlington Northern Railroad for many years until his retirement. They moved to Creston in 1968 and lived there for many years and they lived in Excelsior Springs, MO for about fifteen years. Donald has lived in Syracuse, Nebraska about four years.
Donald was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Union and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Creston.

Left to cherish Donalds memory are his step-son: Joseph (wife Jessica Ann) Evans, Manley, NE; his step-daughter: Jennifer (husband Jim) Hutton, Choctaw, OK; his grandchildren: Joseph R. (wife Mandy) Evans, III, Omaha, NE; Shannon Hutton, Florida; and Jessica Hutton, Oklahoma; his great-grandson: Heath Robert Evans, Omaha, Nebraska; his brother: Nolan McCaulley, Springfield, MO; his sisters: Bonnie (husband Bob) Burggraaf, New Sharon, IA; Glennys Baker, Davenport, IA; and Darlene (husband Robert) King, Dallas, TX; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding Donald in death were his parents; his wife, Bonnie in 2009; his adopted son, Freddie McCaulley; a brother-in-law; a sister-in-law; and his grandson, Matthew Hutton.
