Earl Carl Pickron, the son of Charles and Minnie (Bollman) Pickron was born on February 22, 1912, at Davenport, Iowa. Earl married Virginia Bubb on December 19, 1979. Earl lived in Creston for many years and in Winterset for over 20 years. He owned and operated Pickron Sign Painting. Left to cherish Earls memory are his son, Gary Lee Pickron, Branson, Missouri; several step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, in 2002.
