Eileen Mccann

Eileen McCann was born to Lela Martha (Rogers) and Buel Clyde Adams on August 6, 1922, in Winterset, Iowa. Eileen entered eternal rest on June 15, 2005, at the Creston Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of eighty-two years, ten months, and nine days.
Eileen lived most of her life in Creston, Iowa. She graduated from Creston High School with the class of 1940. On September 26, 1942, she married Vincent James McCann in Creston, Iowa.
Eileen began work as a lab technician in 1955. She worked at Greater Community Hospital and at the Creston Medical Clinic until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and D. A. R. Eileen loved to travel and was an avid reader.
Left to mourn Eileens passing are her Daughter: Kathleen (husband John) Tapken, Creston; Sons: Mike McCann, West Des Moines; Kirk (wife Lila) McCann, Creston; Sister: Shirley Snodgrass, Creston; Sister-In-Law: Elda Adams, Creston; Ten Grandchildren; Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Preceding Eileen in death were her parents; Husband Vincent on September 26, 1985; Daughter-In-Law: Bev McCann; Grand-daughter: Angela McCann; Brother: Carl Adams; Brother-In-Law: Wayne Snodgrass
