Ellen M. Bochniak

Ellen “Bunny” (Haasjes) Bochniak, the daughter of Jimmy and Loraine (Beltman) Haasjes, was born on February 23, 1949, at Chicago, Illinois. Ellen entered eternal rest on October 20, 2008, at Greater Regional Medical Center, Creston, Iowa, at the age of fifty-nine years, seven months, and twenty-seven days.
Ellen was born and raised in Chicago. On March 22, 1980, she married Steve Charles Bochniak at Holland, Michigan. Ellen and Steve moved to Creston in 1996. Ellen was a homemaker and housewife. She worked for a short time at the Dollar General Store in Creston.
Ellen adored her grandchildren and loved to cook and work in her garden. She enjoyed camping and fishing and helped Steve work on automobiles. Ellen also enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and had accumulated quite a large collection.
Left to cherish Ellens memory is her husband, Steve Bochniak, Creston; her children: Billy Haasjes, near Branson, MO; Johnny (Tracy) Rebellato, Trevor, WI; Steven (Meghan) Bochniak; Creston; Tina Robinson, Trevor, WI; Becky (Derrick) Freeman, Creston; her Nine Grandchildren: Katie Rebellato, Marina Rebellato, Sophie Rebellato, Johnny Rebellato, Breanne Robinson, Marissa Robinson, Chiance Freeman, Miracle Freeman, Lashay Freeman; her brother: George (Linda) Haasjes, Waukeegan, IL; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Ellen in death were her Parents, and Son, Michael Rebellato as a young child.
