Erin Danielle Kuhn

Erin Danielle Kuhn, daughter of Jimmie and Tammy (Bowie) Kuhn, was born on Friday, November 1, 1996. Erin entered eternal rest after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Corning, Iowa at the age of thirteen years, seven months and eighteen days.
Erin completed the seventh grade in the Corning school district. She was very devoted to her family and treasured time spent with them. Erin also loved any outdoor activity. She particularly loved camping, swimming, fishing and deer hunting. Erin’s compassionate heart, passion for life and courage inspired all who knew her.
Left to cherish Erin’s memory is her father, Jimmie (fiancé Jodi Troxel) Kuhn of Corning; mother, Tammy (fiancé Dan McAlpin) Kuhn of New Market, IA; brothers: Josh McAlpin of New Market, Matt Troxel of Corning and Taylor Kuhn of Corning; sisters: Chelse McAlpin of Braddyville, IA, Paige Kuhn of Corning and Alyssa Kuhn of Corning; grandparents: Jim and Vicki Kuhn of Grant, IA and Bill and Pong Bowie of Eleven Mile, CO; great-grandparents: Willis Walton and Emma Kuhn, both of Villisca, IA; aunts and uncles: Chris Kuhn of Corning, Shawn (Jenny) Bowie of Denver, CO and Debbie (Blake) Richardson of Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID.
Erin was preceded in death by her great uncle, Willis Walton; great-grandmother, Darlene Walton; great-grandfather, Paul Kuhn and great-grandparents: Fred and Edith Bowie.
