Frances Ireland

There will be no public viewing. Cremation will follow the service. Inurnment will be in Rochester, New York at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Creston Animal Resue Effort (C.A.R.E.)
Frances Lanore Ireland, the daughter of William Sidney and Frances Mazie (Parker) Bullock, was born on August 19, 1933, at Redding, Iowa. Frances entered eternal rest on October 22, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of seventy-four years, two months, and four days.
Frances graduated from Diagonal High School with the Class of 1951. She moved to Creston following graduation from High School. Frances lived in Creston and Rochester, New York, then returned to Creston in 2004. Frances married Alexander Baird Ireland in New York in 1956 and they later divorced.
Frances was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and worked in Greenfield, Iowa, at the nursing home and Crest Haven Care Centre in Creston. She also worked as the Plant Nurse at Wellman Dynamics. While in New York, she was a home health care nurse.
Frances loved to care for her house plants and her animals. She currently cared for her two cats.
Preceding Frances in death was her father, William Bullock; her former husband, Alexander Ireland in 1981; and her brother, Larry “Hoagie” Bullock.
Left to mourn Frances passing is her mother, Frances Bullock, Creston; her daughters: Gail Ireland, Pittsford, NY; Dawn (Heiko) Ireland-Monsees, LeRoy, NY; Sandra Ireland, Pittsford, NY; her brothers: Roy (Norma) Bullock, Creston; Paul (Linda) Bullock, Council Bluffs, IA; her sisters: Paulette (Bob) Brotherton, New Mexico; Billie (Larry) Embree, Quincy, IL; her Sister-in-law: Mary Lynn Bullock, Denver, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
