Frances Kessler

Frances Marie Kessler, the daughter of Frank and Emma Anna (Shoemacher) Ingraham, was born on July 18, 1918, at Creston, Iowa. Frances entered eternal rest on May 6, 2009, at the Greater Regional Hospice Home in Creston, Iowa, at the age of ninety years, nine months, and twenty days.
Frances graduated from Creston High School in 1936. On June 6, 1954, she married Harold Andrew Kessler at Creston.
Frances lived in the Creston area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a farm wife. Before marriage, she worked as a bookkeeper for Kerr Cochran Chevrolet for several years. Frances was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Creston; and she was a former 4-H Leader when she was younger. Frances was a member of various card clubs and enjoyed quilting and embroidering.
Left to cherish Frances memory are her children: Betty (husband Pat) Miller, Winterset; and Roger (wife Cheryl) Kessler, Laguna Hills, CA; Four Grandchildren: Justin (wife Brooke) Miller, Winterset; Andy Miller (Fiance Nicki), Des Moines; Stephanie Miller (Fiance Justin), Winterset; Marriah Kessler, Laguna Hills, CA; her sisters-in-law: Glenna Ingraham, Webster City, IA; Helen Hamilton, Willow Springs, MO; May Carlisle, Creston; Edna Priest, Creston; Pearl Mullin, Creston; and Many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Frances in death were her Parents; her Husband in 2001; and two Brothers: Floyd and Harold Ingraham.
