Glen A. Russell

Glen A. Russell, son of Dallas and Faye Russell, was born December 16, 1931, in Adams County, Iowa and passed away September 6, 1986, at Barlow Hospital in Los Angeles, CA.
He was united in marriage to Darlene Marie Peterson June 10, 1950. To this union four children were born.
Glen was a farmer until 1958. He moved to Sylmar, CA, where he learned the machinist trade. In 1969 he moved to Lancaster, CA where he worked as a shop foreman for AV Auto Electric. Glen was a member of Lancaster United Methodist Church, an avid camper and needle worker in “Japanese Bunka”. You will find many of his works of art displayed in homes of his beloved relatives and friends.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roy. Since Glen’s passing in 1986, another brother, Leo, and sister, Rowena Huff, have passed away.
Left to cherish Glen’s memory is his wife, Darlene; two sons, Terry Glen and wife Linda of Greenville, TX, and Dallas Alan and wife Kim of Palmdale, CA; two daughters, Velma Marie and husband Rex Farmer of Robinson, TX, and April Lynn and husband Robert Pearson of Marysville, WA; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl and his wife, Pat of Millington, TN.
Glen has been gone twenty-five years this year. The family decided to bring him back home where he was born and raised.
