Harold W. Warnock

Harold Warnock, the son of Welrose Marshall and Emma (Steele) Warnock, was born on April 11, 1910, at Carl, Iowa. Harold entered eternal rest on November 13, 2008, at Corning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Corning, Iowa, at the age of ninety-eight years, seven months, and four days.
Harold lived all of his life in Adams County. On June 16, 1937, he married Ruth Louise Rogers near Brooks, Iowa. Ruth died August 27, 1986. Harold married Vera Tanner in September, 1987, and Vera passed away in March, 2000. Lorraine Gentry has been his best friend and companion the last seven years.
Harold farmed in the Carl area and was a truck driver, hauling livestock and grain. He drove a school bus for many years. Harold also owned and operated the roller skating rink in Carl and he later donated the building to the church. Harold loved to follow the Chicago Cubs.
Left to cherish Harolds memory are his two daughters: Glea (Ralph) Klein, Des Moines, IA; and Carol Huntsman (Friend, Mike Harris), Jefferson, SD; his son: Max (Mary) Warnock, Omaha, NE; Eight Grandchildren; Twenty-four Great-Grandchidren; and Two Great-Great Grandchildren; One niece and One nephew; and his best friend and companion, Lorraine Gentry, Corning, IA.
Preceding Harold in death were his parents; his first wife, Ruth, and second wife, Vera; his son-in-law, Wayne Huntsman; two sisters: Reva Warnock and Lula Riley; and one nephew, Donald Riley.
