Hector I. Lopez

Hector Ishmael Lopez, the son of Blanca Estela (Ortiz) and Ismael Herrera Lopez was born February 14, 1972 at Muscatine, Iowa. Hector entered eternal rest on May 24, 2006 at his residence, at the age of thirty-four years, three months and ten days.
Hector graduated from Muscatine High School and attended St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa. On October 26, 1998, Mary Miller and Hector Lopez were united marriage in Muscatine, Iowa. He previously was a member the United States Army, the ranger division, serving in Iraq following Desert Storm. Hector worked for Frontier Communications as a telephone technician, he was also a DSL installer and guide for hunters in Adams and Taylor County. Hunting was his passion. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Corning, was an avid weight lifter.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lopez of Corning; daughters: Patience, Nina and Piper Lopez of Corning and Cheyenne Lopez of Muscatine; parents: Ismael Blanca Lopez of Muscatine; mother-in-law: Laura Marquez of Muscatine; father-in-law: Donald Miller of Muscatine; brother: Simon, wife Teresa, Lopez of Muscatine and two nieces.
