Jeremy Reid

Jeremy Reid, son of the late Johnny Dale and Carolyn Marie (Campbell) Reid, was born on December 8, 1976 in Mobile, Alabama. Jeremy passed away after an extended illness on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Corning Nursing and Rehab Center in Corning, Iowa at the age of thirty-four years.
Jeremy has lived in Corning for the past eight years. He had worked as a CNA, employed by the Tabor Manor Care Center in Tabor, Iowa, several years ago.
Jeremy loved football, especially the Oklahoma Sooners. He was an avid follower of NASCAR and faithful fan of Dale Earnhardt Jr. He was proud member of Dales fan club. Jeremys name was placed on Dales race car for one race which was a great source of pride for Jeremy.
Left to cherish Jeremys memory is his mother, Carolyn Reid and significant other, Roger Ruchti of Corning, IA; sister, Lisa Reid of Creston, IA; brothers: Tony (Lisa) Stones of Upper Marlboro, MD and Adam Stones of LaPlatte, NE; three nieces: Harper Reid of Creston, IA, Paige Stones of Nebraska City, NE, Jeanette Stones of Upper Marlboro, MD; nephews: Keegan Stones of Nebraska City, NE, Anthony Stones and Robert Stones both of Upper Marlboro, MD; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Johnny Dale Reid in 1991 and his aunt, June Brittian.
Private Services will be held at a later date. Jeremys body was donated to the University of Iowa for research on Huntingtons Disease. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Huntingtons Society www.hdsa.org. On-line condolences may be left at www.pearsonfuneralhomes.com. Pearson-Coen-Beaty Family Funeral Service of Corning is in charge of the arrangements for Jeremy Reid.
