Jerrold Timothy Brown, son of Martin and Bonnie (Duggins) Brown, was born on January 17, 1942 in Protem, Missouri. Jerry passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his daughter’s residence in Villisca, Iowa at the age of seventy-one years, nine months and thirteen days.
Jerry grew up an attended school in Olathe, Kansas. On March 25, 1961, Jerry was united in marriage to Connie Kay Madison and three children were born to this union: Yvette, Scott and Jeff. The couple later divorced.
As a young man, Jerry lived in the Westport area of Kansas City, Missouri but lived most of his life in the Jefferson City, Missouri area making cabinets in the new homes in the suburban area of Jefferson City. Jerry was a cabinet maker for many years and was passionate about his work.
Jerry was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Left to cherish Jerry’s memories are his children: Yvette (Terry) O’Neill of Villisca, Iowa and Scott and Jeff Brown, both of Grant, Iowa; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; brother, Garland Brown of Texas; sisters: Nina Adams and Mary Lou (Turner) Graves, both of Colorado and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
