Jessica Ann Moeller, the daughter of Steven Allen and Patricia Ann (Jungwirth) Moeller, was born on September 24, 1979, at Aberdeen, South Dakota. Jessica entered eternal rest on February 1, 2010, at her home in Decorah, Iowa, at the age of thirty years, four months and ten days.
Jessicas family moved to Creston when she was three months old. She graduated from Creston High School with the Class of 1998 with a 4.0 grade point average and received a Presidential Scholarship to Luther College. Following high school graduation, she moved to Decorah to attend Luther College. Jessica received a BA from Luther College in 2002. Jessica then moved to Iowa City and received her MA degree in Library Science from the University of Iowa in 2004. She returned to Decorah in 2007 and has been working at the Decorah Public Library for the past two years.
Jessica was very athletic in high school, but her true love was reading and writing. She enjoyed music from the 60s and 70s. Jessica loved to be outdoors and enjoyed camping and canoeing.
