Jill Reichenauer

September 18, 1964 — July 12, 2011

Jill Evans Reichenauer, daughter of David and Janet (Sorensen) Brower, was born on September 18, 1964 in Lamar, MO. Jill entered eternal rest after a courageous battle with cancer on July 12, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of forty-six years.
Jill grew up in Omaha, NE and graduated from Central High School in 1983. Following graduation, Jill attended Nebraska College of Business in Omaha and became a Certified Medical Assistant. Jill worked as a Medical Assistant in Omaha a couple of years for private physicians. She then relocated to Corning and worked for Dr. Ted George. Later, Jill attended Southwestern Community College in Creston and graduated in June of 1996 after earning her RN degree. She then worked for the Rosary Medical Clinic where she remained until November 2009 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Jill was married to Lowell Warren Evans on September 20, 1986, later they divorced. Two children were born to this union: son Tyler and daughter Shelby. On November 12, 2005, Jill was united in marriage to Mark Peter Reichenauer at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Corning, Iowa.
Jill was a member of Beginning Experience in Des Moines for several years. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Corning and helped in the Circle of Friends. Jill was very fond of jewelry and became a Silpada Jewelry Representative. Most importantly though, Jill loved having a house full of kids, going out to eat with family and going on cruises with her loving husband Mark and all of their children.
Left to cherish Jill’s memory is her husband, Mark Reichenauer; son, Tyler Evans; daughter, Shelby Kate Evans, all of Corning, IA; step-sons: Joseph, Jacob and Kenny Reichenauer; parents: David and Janet Brower of Omaha, NE; grandmother, Macel Brower of Massena, IA; brother, Mark (wife Leah) Brower of Omaha, NE; two nephews: Mark and Ethan Brower of Omaha, NE and several cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Jill was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; paternal grandfather and infant brother, Todd Brower.
