John Williamson

John Phillip Williamson, the son of John Charles and Virginia Jean (Welcher) Williamson, was born on August 16, 1958 in Greenfield, Iowa. John entered eternal rest on March 18, 2014, at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital, Corning, Iowa at the age of fifty-five years, seven months and two days.
John has lived in Creston most of his life. John married Kim Charles in 1988 and they later divorced. He worked as a laborer doing roofing and siding, and he also enjoyed fixing computers.
John loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar. He enjoyed giving to others and was always there to help whenever his family or friends needed him. John loved and was devoted to his mother. John also enjoyed playing cards.
Left to cherish John’s memory is his daughter, Tifani Williamson, Edwardsville, KS; his granddaughter, Amelia Ashlock, Edwardsville, KS; his mother, Virginia Williamson, Creston; his sisters: Sharon (Clarence) Keller, Creston; Dianne Trenkle, Creston; Sandee Casteel, New Market; Joyce Williamson, Minnesota; Gloria Williamson, Bridgewater, IA; Peggy (Joe) Wilson, Corning; and Penny Williamson, Des Moines, IA; his brothers: Doug (Sharon) Williamson, Creston; and Don (Teresa) Williamson, Creston; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding John in death were his father, John in March, 1983; his brother, Rod; his nieces: Chelle Casteel and Margaret Williamson; his nephews: Kooper Lohoff and Seth Williamson; his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
