Kalita S. Moore

Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been set up Kalitas name at Great Western Bank in Creston.
Kalita Shedoi Moore, the daughter of Troy Lee and Denise Ellen (Page) Moore, was born on February 11, 1990, in Creston, Iowa. Kali entered eternal rest on June 13, 2007, near Creston, Iowa, at the age of seventeen years, four months, and two days.
Kali attended Creston High School and was in the eleventh grade. She was very active in high school, where she was involved in Cheerleading for both Football and Wrestling; the school Choir, and IJAG (Iowa Jobs for American Graduates). Kali was a member of the Creston Church of Christ and the Teen Youth Group; a Sunday School Helper; and attended Sharon Bluff Bible Camp every year since she was 8 years old. She participated in all aspects of the Relay for Life; and was involved in Girl Scouts of America in the First, Second and Third Grade. Kali worked at Hardees for the last five months.
Left to mourn Kalis passing are her parents: Troy and Denise Moore, Creston; her brothers: Troy (Jennifer) Bruce, Junction City, CO; SPC Rusty (Amanda) Zimmerman, currently serving in Irag, stationed at Fort Riley, KS; her sisters: Jami (Ronn) Vandevender, Prescott; Karen (Joe) Barber, Creston; her grandparents: Leonard and Sharon Page, Kent; Edna Page, Creston; Marsha and Denny Engle, Newton; Bonnie Moore, Van Buren, MO; Nieces and Nephew: Breanna, Brittany and Zoey Vandevender; Exodus Bruce; Shelby, Wyatt and Baby Barber; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceding Kali in death were Pat Ruggles; Grandmother: Lois Ruggles; Great-Grandfather: Clifford Page; Great Grandmother: Ellen Mikeska; Great Grandmother: Hattie Meyer; and May God Bless the Memories of Jolynn Kimball and Chris Lowe.
