Karen J. Jackson

Karen Janette Jackson, the daughter of John William and Ferne Elizabeth (Ambrose) Jackson, was born near Creston, Iowa on June 19, 1942. Karen passed away at the Clarke County Public Hospital in Osceola, Iowa on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 15 days.
Karen was raised in Creston but lived in Washington State for 20 years. She was married to Larry Norris and 4 children were born to bless this union:  Scott, Ron, Mike and Kim.  The couple later divorced.  Karen was currently residing at C.A.R.E. in Afton the final 6 years of her life.  The other residents and staff at C.A.R.E. all loved her, and she will be greatly missed.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scott Norris; 2 brothers: Gary and Albert “Sonny” Jackson; 2 sisters-in-law:  Tilley and Harriett Jackson
Left to mourn Karen’s passing are her children: Ron (wife Nancy) Norris of Kent, Iowa, Mike Norris, also of Kent and Kim (husband John) Fletcher of Humboldt, Iowa; her 5 grandchildren:  Wendy Thies, William Carroll, James Norris, Kayley Weeks and Rachel Buss; 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Jackson of Winterset, Iowa and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  May God grant comfort and strength to those who mourn.
