Kathryn Vivian Rasmussen

Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family to be decided at a later date.
Kathryn Vivian Rasmussen, the daughter of John M. and Nora Cecelia (Kerrigan) Weber, was born on March 4, 1920, on a farm near Creston, Iowa. Kathryn entered eternal rest on August 17, 2009, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, Waverly, Iowa, at the age of eighty-nine years, five months, fifteen days.
Kathryn attended Creston Public Schools and graduated from Creston High School with the class of 1938. On October 9, 1948, she married Donald Morris Rasmussen at Omaha, Nebraska. Kathryn lived in Creston all of her life. She was a homemaker, and previously worked for Gits Manufacturing, the hospital and the Laundromat.
Kathryn was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She bowled in a bowling league for over twenty-five years.
Left to cherish Kathryns memory are her daughters: Donna (husband Dick) Crayne, Waverly, Iowa; and Debbie Feldhacker (special friend Marty Williams), Creston; Six Grandchildren: Heather Rogers, Clint (wife Kim) Veatch, Robin Woods (and special friend Jon Cornick), Ryan Feldhacker, Alicia (husband John) Lovell, and Abby Feldhacker; Six Great-Grandchildren; her brother: Bill Weber, Creston; very special long-time friends: Edith McFee, Norma Francis, Marge Jessen and Violet Antisdel, all of Creston; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding Kathryn in death were her Parents; Husband in 2007; Brother: Arthur Weber; Sisters: Irene Groves, Bernice Williams, and Agnes Wilson; and her Sister-in-Law, Vivian Weber.
