Keith Edward Groff, the son of Anna (Richie) and John Groff was born June 26, 1936 in Taylor County, Iowa. Keith entered Eternal Rest on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Corning Nursing Rehab Center at the age of sixty-nine years, four months and twenty-two days.
Keith graduated from Corning High School with the class of 1955. In his younger years, he was a member of the Taylor County 4-H group, FFA member all through high school and raised angus cattle. Keith was an avid NASCAR fan, attending the races at the Adams County Speedway and was a season ticket holder at Kansas Speedway.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wendell Groff.
Survivors include his nieces: Gae (husband Richard) Soper of Overland Park, Kansas, Glee (husband Doug) Einck of Bettendorf, Iowa; grand nieces: Syndey Einck, Madison Einck, and Jillian Soper; grand nephew, William Soper; sister-in-law, Thersia Groff and other relatives.
