Leonard Clifford Page, the son of William Clifford and Ellen A. (Anderson) Page, was born on February 17, 1934 in Cope, Colorado. Leonard entered eternal rest on July 2, 2013, at the age of seventy-nine years, four months and fifteen days.
Leonard lived in the Union County area most of his life. He married Edna Meyer and they later divorced. Leonard and Sharon Lillian (Allison) Page have been together since 1980.
Leonard worked for the State Highway Commission as a surveyor. He worked as a mechanic for the Ford Garage for several years and was a Security Guard for Wellman Dynamics. Leonard owned and operated the Page Garage in Kent, along with the Kent Store. Leonard farmed for several years west of Kent. He was currently employed by Carlisle Automotive in Creston while continuing to farm his own land.
Leonard was an avid hunter and gardener. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Left to cherish Leonard’s memory are his wife, Sharon Page, Kent, IA; his daughters: Marcia Page, O’Fallon, MO; Denise Moore, Creston; Connie (Brad) Scott, St. Peters, MO; his sons: Dustin (Sandy) Allison, Creston; and Daniel Page and special friend, Kelsey Livingston, Creston; his fifteen grandchildren: Brent (Michelle) Johnson; Sara (Sean) Miller; Tyler (Priscilla) Johnson; Alicia (Adam) Ferguson; Jami (Ron) Vandevender; Karen Barber; Rusty (Hillary) Zimmerman; Austin Scott and Fiance Heather; Taylor Scott; Dustin Hoyt; Chelsea Hoyt; Lizy and Katy Allison; Maleena Allison; and Nolan Livingston; eighteen great-grandchildren; his brother, Marion (Jeanette) Page, Shannon City, IA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding Leonard in death were his parents and his step-father; his granddaughter, Kali Moore; his grandson-in-law, Joe Barber; his son-in-law, Jim Wiley; his brother, Billy Page (nine years old); his two sisters: Wilma Boan and Marla Page; and his niece, Sue Pattenaude.
