Linda Lee (Steadman) Jordan, the daughter of Byron William and Phyllis Ann (Baker) Steadman, was born on January 28, 1948 in Creston, Iowa. Linda entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the Corning Nursing Rehab Center in Corning, Iowa at the age of sixty-one years, one month and eighteen days.
Linda attended Corning schools and lived her entire life in southwest Iowa. Linda was married to Kenneth Jordan in Afton, Iowa.
Linda was a Facility Coordinator at Sheltered Workshop in Creston, Iowa. Previously, she worked at the Corning Nursing Rehab Center in Corning, Iowa.
Left to cherish Lindas memory is her mother, Phyllis Steadman of Corning, Iowa; Kenneth Jordan of Afton, Iowa; sisters: Barbara (husband John) Cosaert of Kalona, Iowa, Carol (husband Doug) Olive of Corning, Iowa, Janet (husband Doug) Mercer of Corning, Iowa and Kathlyn (husband Michael) Keever of Lincoln, Nebraska; nieces: Charrisse Reynolds, Corrinn Jolly, Estee Olive and Lauren Steadman; nephews: Cody Mercer, Clayton Mercer and Cole Steadman.
Preceding Linda in death was her father, Byron Steadman; brother, Bryan Steadman; maternal grandparents: Garnett and Bertha Baker and paternal grandparents: Orville and Kitty Steadman.
