Lois Bradley

Lois Lucille Bradley, the daughter of Asa and Carrie (Jensen) Blakesley, was born on March 4, 1918 in Creston, Iowa. Lois entered eternal rest on April 6, 2015 at Southern Hills Specialty Care, Osceola, Iowa at the age of ninety-seven years.
Lois was raised on a farm in the Union and Ringgold County areas. She graduated from Shannon City High School with the Class of 1936. On November 19, 1939 she married Larry Thurman Bradley, Sr. in Lenox, Iowa. Following her marriage to Larry, the couple lived in the Lenox area. Lois was a homemaker and resided in Lenox most of her adult life. Lois hung wall paper and did interior painting in the Lenox area. Lois was also a seamstress and worked at The Green Thumb located in the neighborhood center in Lenox for fifteen years. Lois moved to Creston Nursing and Rehab in 2009 and has lived in Osceola since late 2013.
Lois was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lenox and a member of the Altar Society. She was a member of the Clearfield Lions Club. Both Larry and Lois were active in the Creston Elk’s Lodge and Lois owned a boat house at the country club on Summit Lake.
Left to cherish Lois’ memory are her children: Carol McFee, Rosalie, NE; Larry Bradley, Jr., Creston; and Ed (Linda) Bradley, Lewistown, MT; Five Grandchildren; Several Great-Grandchildren; One Great-Great-Granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding Lois in death were her parents; her husband in 2006; Two sisters: Lola Cheers and Zella Hamilton; and Two Sons-In-Law: Bob McFee and John Kessler.
