Loren S. Brown

Loren Scott Brown, the son of Evelyn (Rork) and Neal Brown was born on July 7, 1964 at Rosary Hospital in Corning, Iowa. Loren entered eternal rest on April 25, 2006 at Alegent Health-Mercy Hospital at the age of forty-one years, nine months and nineteen days.
He graduated from Corning High School, class of 1982, he also attended Iowa Western College. During his lifetime he had lived in Corning, Nodaway, Macedonia and Council Bluffs, but most of the time he lived in the Adams county area. Loren worked with his Dad as a painter, loved to go camping with his friends, and also to be alone.
Loren was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; uncles: Lee, Delbert, Eugene and George Brown and Bill Wark; cousins: Brian Brosh, Amy Rork, Mary Helen Brown and Roger Brown.
He is survived by daughter: Marissa Brown of Council Bluffs, Iowa; parents: Neal and Evelyn Brown of Corning, Iowa; brother: Noel Brown and wife Deanne of Keokuk, Iowa; sisters: Diane Mohr and husband Martin of Monroe, Iowa and Beth Townsend and husband Kim of Council Bluffs, Iowa; special friend, Virginia (Dunn) Brown of Nodaway, Iowa; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
