Loris B. Long

Loris B. Long, 89, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2006, at Plattsmouth Manor, Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
Loris was born to Eva Bell (Wharton) and Thomas Tipton Long on December 12, 1916, in Nelson, Nebraska.
Loris taught Business Education for one year in Roseland, Nebraska High School and four years at Plattsmouth High School. She also taught in the Van Sant Business School, Commercial Extension Business College and another Business College in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1944, she entered the Insurance Business and in 1945 she began selling real estate. Later in her business career she sold securities. She was a realtor in Plattsmouth from 1945 to 1983.
Survivors include: Great Nephews: Harold R. Long and Thomas T. Long; Great Nieces: Mary Lee Long and Elizabeth Michelle Long-Starke.
Preceding Loris in death were her parents; Brother: Harold L. Long and wife Alma Long; Nephew: Richard L. Long.
Family suggests Memorials to the First Presbyterian Church, Plattsmouth, Nebraska or Cass County Historical Society.
