Lorraine Moore

Lorraine Moore, 89, of Aitkin, Minnesota, formerly a long time resident of Creston, Iowa, passed away at the Aicota Healthcare Center in Aitkin, Minnesota, on February 1, 2012.
Celebration of Life Services will be 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, February 8, at Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St., Creston. Rev. Tracy Edwards will officiate. Interment will be at the Graceland Cemetery in Creston. Open Visitation will be from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7. Family will receive friends at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 8, one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Jerusalem Methodist Church and/or the Ronald McDonald House in Des Moines. Lorraine Clair Moore, the daughter of Glen and Clara S. (Warren) Livingston, was born on August 22, 1922, in Lewis, Iowa. Lorraine was married to Clinton (Rusty) Moore on March 10, 1940 in Creston, Iowa. Lorraine was a farm wife. When Rusty passed away in 1995, she moved from the farm into Creston. Lorraine moved to Aitkin, Minnesota in 2003.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Richard Dahnert of Aitkin, Minnesota; three step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Clara Livingston; her husband, Rusty; one sister; and three brothers.
