Margaret Laird

Margaret Lucille Laird, the daughter of Laura Grace (Wolf) and Frank Thomas Hein was born October 17, 1919 at Fremont County, Iowa. Margaret entered Eternal Rest on Sunday, July 10, 2005 at Creston Nursing and Rehab, at the age of eighty-five years, eight months, twenty-four days.
Margaret graduated from Riverton, Iowa High School in 1937. On October 28, 1941 she married Glenn Harold Laird at Rock Port, Missouri. They started farming in Montgomery County, Iowa in 1946 and moved to Prescott in 1968.
She was a member of the Kline Museum, Farm Bureau, Rebecca of Red Oak, and Red Hat Society at Creston Nursing and Rehab.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marjorie Barnard; brother-in-law, Ronald Barnard, and granddaughter, Katie Lynne Laird.
She is survived by her husband Glenn Laird of Prescott; son Wayne (wife Jacque) Laird of Prescott, Iowa; grandson Jacob Laird and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
