Mariellen (Meg) Gardner Beach, 1925 - 2007 of Lenox, Iowa
A Memorial service for Mariellen Gardner Beach, 81, will be held November 16, 2007 at the Presbyterian Church in Lenox, Iowa by Rev. Tim Maxa. A Graveside service will be held in Portalis, New Mexico at a future date. Mariellen died November 14, 2007 at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston, Iowa.
Mariellen, the daughter of James Henry and Vernedeth Leslie Roderick was born in Petoskey, Michigan on December 3, 1925. Her working career was in the hotel business. She married Robert L. Beach of Decatur, TX on June 3, 1995 and they moved to Lenox, IA in 2002.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Beach, sister Doris Jackson and brother James Roderick of Boise, Idaho; four daughters: Nancy West and friend Pete Davidson and Dona Jenkins and her husband Dennis of Lenox, IA, Connie Huyser and her husband Mel of Elwood, NE, and Carolyn Barnes and her husband James of Boise, Idaho; a son Mark Reyner and his wife Sandra of Lenox, IA; step-daughter Jill Marie Miller of Casper, WY and her husband Harry. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Joseph W. Gardner, her parents, James Henry and Vernedeth Roderick, and her brother, Ralph Roderick.
