Marjorie Blair Schmoll, 95, of Rogers, Arkansas died Friday, January 11, 2013, at Ashley Health and Rehab., Rogers, Arkansas. Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 18, at Graceland Cemetery Chapel, Creston. Rev. Gideon Gallo, United Methodist Church, Creston, will officiate. Inurnment will be at the Graceland Cemetery. Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St., Creston is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Marjorie Lucille Blair Schmoll, the daughter of George Matthew and Laura Helen (Mudra) Victor, was born on March 22, 1917, in Creston, Iowa. Marjorie grew up in Adams County near Prescott and graduated from Prescott High School. She moved to Creston in 1937. On September 15, 1940, Marjorie married Cecil Blair at Marshalltown, Iowa. Cecil passed away in 1972.
Marjorie was a bookkeeper for the gas station Cecil built on Highway 34 in Creston until she sold the station due to Cecil’s death. She was a bookkeeper at the Hair House and Beauty College until her retirement in 1977. In July, 1977, Marjorie married Beryl Wayne Schmoll at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. They moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1984. Wayne passed away in 2000. Marjorie was a member of the Methodist Church in both Creston and Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Left to cherish Marjorie’s memory are her children: Fred (Carol) Blair, Bentonville, AR; Randy (Leanna) Blair, Pryor, OK; and Bonnie Aamoth, Scottsdale, AZ; her four granddaughters: Kimberly Peak, Shelly Blair, Amber Blair, and Erin Blair; Two great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters; her brother, George (Doris) Victor, Jr., Seymour, MO; One niece and five nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Cecil Blair; her second husband, Wayne Schmoll; her brother, Robert Victor and her sister-in-law, Lillian Victor.
