Matthew Brian Wynn

August 14, 1979 — June 1, 2008

Burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Corning.
Matthew Brian Wynn was born at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Corning, Iowa on August 14, 1979, to parents Paul and Jackie (Amdor) Wynn. Matt entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 1, 2008, at his home in Thayer, Iowa, at the age of twenty-eight years, nine months and nineteen days.
He was raised in Corning, Iowa, attended Corning Schools and graduated with the class of 1998. Matt was very active in school, participating football, basketball, wrestling and FFA. He was also a member of 4H.
In Matts adult life he was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He appreciated and loved the outdoors and went on many camping trips. Matt was a huge NASCAR and Husker fan. He enjoyed concerts, going out for supper and TV. He looked forward to his Sunday morning fishing and hunting shows.
Matt was engaged to Jordan Tate and adored her children, Tyler and Kylie who lived with him. He attended many of Kylies T-Ball games and was looking forward to taking Tyler deer hunting.
He was employed by Iowa Select Farms as a Sow Tender. He enjoyed agriculture and working with livestock.
Matt left this earth too early by any of our own measures. He was a son, fiance, brother, uncle, friend and confidant. He will be missed beyond our broken hearts imagination.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Paul and Jackie Wynn of Corning; brothers: John Wynn of Corning, Jamie Wynn of Kansas City; sisters: Deb (husband Kyle) James of Illinois, Kimberly (husband Brett) Pegg of Des Moines; fiance, Jordan Tate and her two children, Tyler and Kylie; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Woodrow and Dorothy Wynn, Jack and Doris Amdor.
