Michelle Malone

Michelle Malone, 48, of Des Moines died Friday, April 13, at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. Graveside Services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 18, at Graceland Cemetery, Creston. Father Joseph Pins, Holy Spirit Catholic Church will officiate. There will be no public viewing. Family will receive friends from 6:30 – 7:30 P.M., Tuesday evening, at Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St., Creston. Rosary will be read at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday evening. Michelle Kalynn Malone, the daughter of Robert Lee and Rosalie Kay (Arnold) Malone, was born on January 10, 1964, in Creston, Iowa. Michelle attended school in Creston, and graduated from Creston High School with the Class of 1982. She graduated from Southwestern Community College in 1984, receiving her LPN degree. Michelle was a cheerleader for Creston High School and she enjoyed playing softball. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at several nursing homes in Des Moines for more than twenty years.
Left to cherish Michelle’s memory are her father, Robert Malone (special friend, Helen Waddell), Creston; her daughter, Bobbie RoseAnn Vincent, Des Moines; her significant other, Donald Vincent; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many special friends from Union Park.
Preceding Michelle in death were her mother, Rosalie Kay Malone in 2005; her brother, Cameron Scott Malone in 1991; and her grandparents.
