Mike Beavers

No public viewing is planned. Family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 2, at Coen-Beaty-Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St., Creston, Iowa. Graveside services will be 10:30, Thursday, August 3, at Prairie Rose Cemetery, Adams County, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family in Mikes name.
Michael Eugene Beavers was born to Betty Ruth (Lynam) and Harold Eugene Beavers on February 16, 1964, in Creston, Iowa. Mike entered eternal rest on July 27, 2006, at his home in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of forty-two years, five months, and thirteen days.
Mike lived in Creston all of his young life. Mike graduated from Creston High School with the class of 1982. He earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from DMACC.
Mike moved to Des Moines in 1984. He worked as an electrician for Spahn Electric and Schumacher Electric. Mike also worked for Fair Play wiring scoreboards for athletic facilities. He was a member of Narcotics Anonymous in Des Moines. Mike loved to ride his motorcycle.
Left to mourn Mikes passing are his parents: Harold and Carla Beavers, Creston; his sisters: Kristi (husband Ryan) Vicker, Creston; Mycale Downey (and companion Andy Konkler), Creston; his brothers: Curtis (Carrie) Downey, Creston; Brett Spainhower, Creston; Bradey Spainhower, Creston; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Mike in death were his mother, Betty in 1973; his Grandparents; and his Aunt: Ruth Lynam.
