Molly Kim Biley

July 12, 1966 — January 31, 2006

Molly Rose Biley was born to Marie (Mika) and John Pashek on the family farm home in Colony Township, Adams County, Iowa, two miles southeast of Williamson, on January 26, 1913. The house where she was born still stands. A new house was built in 1921.
In 1919, Molly and her older sister began their education in a one-room, rural country school house #5, a mile from their home. School was hard for them as they couldnt speak or understand a word of English. That country school closed during World War I, so they attended country school #2 for a year. In 1920, four school districts consolidated to form the first twelve year school in Nevinville, Iowa. Molly graduated from Nevinville High School with the class of 1933. After Molly graduated from high school, she worked for a grocery store for five years.
Molly met Jerry Frank Biley at a dance in Creston, Iowa. They were married in Winterset, Iowa on February 3, 1937. They began their life together on an 80 acre farm north of Prescott, Iowa.
Molly and Jerry farmed for forty-six years, raising black Angus cattle, many hogs and over 600 laying hens. They worked together side by side picking corn by hand, making hay, milking cows, and many other farm duties.
Molly and Jerrys interests and hobbies went hand in hand, which accounted for their happiness and contentment. They spent their time gardening, traveling and fishing together. Molly also liked to sew, crochet, and bake birthday and wedding cakes.
Molly and Jerry enjoyed traveling. They visited every state in the United States and Canda except seven.
Left to mourn Mollys passing are her Sister: Mabel Swaim, Creston; Sister-In-Law: Doris Pashek, Creston; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding Molly in death were her parents; her Husband in February 2000; her Brother: Arthur Pashek; her Sister: Frances Larsen; and her Brother-in-Law: Wayne Swaim
