Nellie Williamson

Interment will be at the Bohemian National cemetery, near Williamson, in Adams County, Iowa.
Nellie Marie Williamson was born September 21, 1909, to John and Josephine (Krisinger) Kosar in Adair County, near Orient, Iowa. Nellie passed away June 18, 2006, at Crest Haven Care Center in Creston, Iowa, at the age of ninety-six years, eight months, and twenty-seven days.
Nellie was united in marriage to Harry Ernest Williamson on January 9, 1932, at Grant City, Missouri. To this union were born four children: George, Mary Lou, Richard and Rose.
Harry and Nellie lived in the Williamson area all their married life. Nellie was an avid gardener, loved her flowers and yard, and was a good cook. She enjoyed going to dances, liked the polka bands, and playing cards with friends, neighbors and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children: George (wife Connie) Williamson of Prescott, Mary Lou (husband John) Kline of Afton; Richard Williamson (friend Carol Cooper) of Creston; and Rose Beaman of Lenox; twenty-one grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Grace Daugherty of Massena; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Nellie in death were her parents, her husband Harry in 1962, her brother William Kosar, and her sister Albina Freouf.
