Ona Katherine Walker, the daughter of Bessie Olive (McCulley) and Charles Daniel Frazier, was born on March 12, 1910 at Washington, Kansas. Ona entered eternal rest on November 18, 2006 at the Lenox Care Center, Lenox, Iowa, at the age of ninety-six years, eight months, and eight days.
Ona graduated from Creston High School with the class of 1928 and attended Creston Jr. College where she received Normal Teachers Training. On July 3, 1938, she married Billie Walker in Creston, Iowa. She worked as a clerk for Woolworths and the East End Grocery in Creston until 1960. Ona and Billie then moved to Grand Rapids, Minnesota, where together they owned and operated Sunny Shores Resort. Ona and Billie retired to Clearwater, Florida. Ona returned to Iowa to live at the Lenox Care Center in 1998.
She was a life-long member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Creston.
Left to mourn Onas passing are several nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding Ona in death were her Parents; Husband, Billie Walker; Brother, Harry Frazier; two Sisters, Geraldine Kiesling and Patricia McMath.
