Patricia Oliver

December 13, 1951 — November 20, 2014

Patricia Ann Oliver, the daughter of John William and Helen Esther (Young) Hudson, was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on December 13, 1951. Pat passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of 62 years.
Pat was raised in Kansas and moved to Colorado as a young adult. While living in Colorado, Pat worked as a Nurse Aide and loved caring for her patients. She also worked various other jobs to make ends meet.
Pat moved to Creston and resided here with her family for 15 years. Pat worked for the Creston News Advertiser, delivering newspapers for several of those years. The last two years, Pat has lived with her daughter in Prescott. Pat also lived in Corning several years.
Patricia loved being in the outdoors, especially fishing and camping, hiking and swimming. She enjoyed all the time she spent with her family and friends and dearly loved her two dogs. Pat had a very outgoing personality and for those who knew her, she could be very outspoken too. She had a lot of spunk!
Preceding Pat in death were her parents and grandparents; a granddaughter, Jolynn Kimball; and a sister, Esther Sewell.
Left to mourn Pat’s passing is her son, Tom Sullivan of Creston; two daughters: Angel Roberts of Moberly, Missouri and Shelly (husband Chris) Newcomb of Creston; four grandchildren: Monica Walton, Estella Mintzer, Anthony Walton and Christina Newcomb. Pat is also survived by her brother, John Hudson of Colorado and a sister, Winnie Hudson of Lyons, Colorado; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
