HOWE, Patrick Harold, 92, of Lancaster, California, died October 13, 2010, in Lancaster, California. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 5, 2010, at Calvary Cemetery, Creston, Iowa. Father Joseph Pins will officiate. No visitation is planned. Patrick Harold Howe was born Dec. 24, 1917 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He is survived by his children, James Howe, Wasco, Calif., Dennis Howe, Texarkana, Texas, David Dills, Cassopolis, Michigan, Daniel Howe, Palmdale, Calif., Lorraine Dills, Crestline, Calif., Charlene Reimer, Bakersfield, Calif., Grandchildren, Travis Mathews, Brandon Porter and one great-grandchild. Mr. Howe was raised in Creston, Iowa and proudly served his country in the US Army. On July 29, 1950, he married Patricia Anne McCann in Creston. Patricia passed away on June 15, 1990. He came to the Antelope Valley in 1953, managed to raise 6 children until they were grown and had children of their own and worked for many years as a custodian for the Palmdale School District.
