Paul Charles Britten, the son of Charles Martin and Helen Merle (Huffman) Britten, was born on March 14, 1939, near Nevinville. Paul entered eternal rest on March 29, 2009, at Southern Hills Specialty Care Center, Osceola, Iowa, at the age of seventy years and sixteen days.
Paul attended country school at Richland and graduated from Nevinville High School. He served active duty in the United States Air Force from January 1962 until January 1966.
Paul was a lifelong resident and farmer of rural Creston, Iowa. He owned and operated Britten Manufacturing since 1971. He was a member of the Creston American Legion, NRA, and Good Sams Hillbillies.
Left to cherish Pauls memory are is partner: Sharon Miller, Creston; his children: Machelle (Dan) Smith, Lexington, NE; Troy (Amy) Britten, Creston; Grandchildren: Emily Smith; and Kenzie, Connor and Kaycie Britten; and his sister: Adella (Donnie) Pool, Creston. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
