Randall Claire Hollander, son of Doloris (Scott) and Glendall “Sam” Lee Hollander was born December 13, 1958 in Omaha Nebraska. Randall entered eternal rest on Friday, April 27, 2007 at the University of Colorado Hospital Denver, Colorado at the age of forty-eight years, four months and fifteen days.
Randy, who was given the nickname of “Honker” many years ago, graduated from Corning High School with the class of 1977. On May 12, 1989, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Gauthier Tucker in Denver, Colorado. He had lived in Colorado for over 20 years where he worked for Pittsburg Paint Company. Randy was a member of the Sons of The American Legion and loved cats.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glendall “Sam” Hollander; grandparents, Peter J. and Eva Hollander and Verne and Edna Scott; uncles, Glenn and Claire Scott.
Randy is survived by his wife Cheryl Hollander of Denver, Colorado; mother, Doloris Hollander of Corning, Iowa; brothers: Richard Hollander and wife Colleen of Littleton, Colorado, Kent Hollander of Corning, Iowa, Kirk Hollander and wife Diana of Corning, Iowa, Rodney Hollander and wife Sue of Urbandale, Iowa; uncles: Edward Scott and wife Sharon of Corning, Iowa, Gerald Scott and wife Lois of Clearfield, Iowa, Marvin “Dee” Scott of Corning, Iowa, Cylvan “Bud” Hollander of LaMirda, California; aunts: Illah Brown and husband Clifford, Corning, Iowa, Ruth Swartz, Corning, Iowa, Norma ORiley, Littleton, California and Eileen Hollander of Omaha, Nebraska; nieces and nephews, Dawn, Jennifer, Adam, Eric and Jason Hollander and many other relatives and friends.
