Richard Hance

Richard Marvin Hance, the son of Marvin Lester and Eleanor Iola (Decker) Hance, was born on April 6, 1952, in Creston, Iowa. Richard entered eternal rest on April 12, 2011, at his home in Creston, Iowa, at the age of fifty-nine years.
Richard lived in Creston most of his life. Richard graduated from Creston High School with the Class of 1970. After high school he lived in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Glenwood. Richard worked at Delta Airlines in Chicago as a baggage handler and also did concrete work. He worked delivering newspapers for the World Herald for a short time and delivered the Des Moines Register for several years.
Left to cherish Richards memory are his special friend: Pat Gowey, Creston; his brothers: Charles (wife Mary Jane) Hance, Creston; and Dennis (wife Angie) Hance, Creston; his sister: Linda Reynolds, Collinsville, OK; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding Richard in death were his parents; and his brother-in-law: Lee Reynolds.
