Rosalie “Rosie” Blue, 77 of Creston, Iowa passed away Sunday, April 10th, 2022 at Creston Specialty Care. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, April 15th, 2022 at Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Creston, Iowa. Pastor Rick Titus, officiating. Open visitation on Friday, April 15th from 10 AM until time of service. Rosie will be laid to rest in the Cromwell Cemetery, Cromwell, Iowa. Rosalie Violet (Keller) Blue was born at home in Creston, Iowa on September 5, 1944. She was the youngest of 8 children born to Luther Arthur William Keller and Rhoda Elizabeth (Beedle) Keller. Rosie lived her entire life in Creston where she worked as a Nurse Aide in the nursing homes and the hospital for many years.

Rosie was an active, long-time member of the Creston Eagles Lodge and served as both President and Vice President. She also was active for many years in the Creston VFW and American Legion Auxiliary and held various offices in both. While able to attend, Rosie was an active member of the Assembly of God church.

Preceding Rosie in death was her siblings: Lawrence and Don Keller and Frances Clayton, Beulah Jones, Virginia Pearce and infant Doris Ann Keller; along with 4 nieces and nephews.

Rosie is survived by a brother, Clarence Keller of Creston; several nieces and nephews including Anna Whetzel, Roger Austin and Larry Barton.
